Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario models for long-term organizational planning
- Facilitate executive workshops and stakeholder dialogues to translate foresight into actionable insights
- Author thought leadership publications and predictive intelligence briefs for industry audiences
- Establish cross-functional innovation pipelines integrating emerging technologies with business objectives
- Monitor geopolitical, economic, and environmental megatrends to quantify their strategic implications
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, technologists, and domain experts
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles at Fortune 500 or tech startups
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-ready strategies with measurable impact
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems modeling methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic frameworks deployed in market
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their trajectory
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFrA from Association of Professional Futurists preferred)
