Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 strategic vision frameworks for enterprise clients using horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify exponential technology opportunities (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Produce scenario-based forecasts and impact assessments for emerging market disruptors
- Design innovation roadmaps aligning emerging technologies with business objectives
- Author thought leadership content on future trends for industry publications and conferences
- Establish strategic partnerships with research labs and academic institutions
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal capability in foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or related field
- 5+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of developing long-term technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, Web3, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level stakeholders
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or foresight organizations)
- Published thought leadership in future trends or innovation strategy
