Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 strategic vision, aligning emerging technologies (quantum, AGI, biotech) with market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional foresight initiatives, synthesizing signals from 200+ global innovation sources
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for 7-10 year horizon, preparing for paradigm shifts
- Present strategic recommendations to executive board and investor committees
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Author thought leadership pieces published in MIT Tech Review and Future Today Institute
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record translating futuristic concepts into commercial roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, AGI, neurotech, or climate modeling
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent experience
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in future-focused publications
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
