This senior role requires a blend of technical acumen, foresight, and strategic leadership to anticipate emerging tech trends and translate them into actionable business strategies. You'll collaborate with R&D, product, and executive teams to position our organization as an industry leader in the rapidly evolving digital ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3) and develop strategic roadmaps for 2026+ implementation
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate and prioritize future-focused product innovations
- Conduct competitive landscape analysis and identify disruptive market opportunities
- Present visionary technology strategies to C-suite executives and board members
- Build and manage a network of industry experts, academics, and innovation partners
- Develop scenario-planning models for technological disruptions and market shifts
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of innovation across the organization
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic technology planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial products or services
- Expertise in emerging technologies with deep knowledge of at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or decentralized systems
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience delivering to executive audiences
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in technology journals or industry publications
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in trend analysis tools and scenario modeling
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFTR) highly desirable
