Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology foresight frameworks identifying disruptive innovations for 2026+ market landscapes
- Lead cross-functional workshops mapping emerging tech trends (AI, quantum, neurotech) to product roadmaps
- Author quarterly strategic briefings for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Partner with venture capital arm to evaluate and integrate emerging startups
- Represent company at global tech futurist forums and academic symposiums
- Design and implement technology adoption scenarios across enterprise divisions
- Mentor internal 'Future Scouts' program cultivating next-gen innovation talent
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or equivalent field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or hypergrowth startups
- Proven track record publishing foresight research in peer-reviewed journals
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional scenario planning and systems thinking abilities
- Experience with Delphi method technology forecasting techniques
- Portfolio of implemented future-back strategies creating measurable market impact
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight (e.g., APF, WFS)
