Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to forecast industry shifts through 2026
- Develop strategic frameworks for adopting breakthrough technologies while mitigating adoption risks
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-oriented innovation priorities
- Produce actionable white papers and trend reports influencing C-suite decision-making
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs for early-access research
- Design scenario-planning models for technological disruption across key business verticals
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of forward-thinking across the organization
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years experience in strategic foresight or emerging technology analysis
- Proven track record of publishing influential tech trend reports or industry forecasts
- Expertise in systems thinking and scenario-planning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience advising executive leadership on technology-driven transformation
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic initiatives implemented from foresight work
