- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Present strategic briefings to investors and board members on tech evolution trends
- Establish innovation KPIs and track adoption of future-facing technologies
- Partner with R&D to incubate moonshot projects with 10x ROI potential
- Author thought leadership on technology ethics and societal implications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with proven 5+ year roadmap execution
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains: quantum computing, AGI, or neurotech
- Experience leading cross-continental innovation teams in matrix organizations
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature Futures journal preferred
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Portfolio demonstrating technology commercialization of speculative innovations
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and technology impact assessment
