Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps forecasting disruptive innovations (2026-2030)
- Analyze global tech trends, patent landscapes, and academic research to identify breakthrough opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable product strategies
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research laboratories
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote industry conferences
- Mentor junior strategists in emerging technology assessment methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, Computer Science, or related field
- 8+ years experience in corporate strategy, R&D, or technology consulting
- Proven track record of forecasting technology trends with 80%+ accuracy
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: AI, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience addressing executive audiences
- Published author in tech foresight or innovation strategy (peer-reviewed journals or industry publications)
- Proficiency in strategic foresight tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Methodology)
