- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year market impact

- Partner with C-suite executives to align R&D investments with futuristic business objectives
- Develop predictive models for technology adoption curves and market disruption vectors
- Host innovation workshops with global stakeholders to co-create 2026 technology visions
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging tech trends and their societal implications
- Manage cross-functional teams executing experimental technology pilots
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or emerging tech R&D leadership
- Expertise in quantum computing, AI ethics, or decentralized systems architecture
- Proven track record of launching futuristic technologies to commercial viability
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management preferred

- Experience securing $50M+ in R&D funding for experimental technologies
- Deep network within global tech innovation ecosystems (Y Combinator, IEEE, etc.)
