Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a multi-year technology foresight framework identifying emerging trends, disruptions, and opportunities through horizon scanning and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate futuristic concepts in AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable systems
- Translate complex technological possibilities into actionable business strategies with measurable ROI projections
- Author thought leadership publications and present at global forums on the future of human-technology symbiosis
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical deployment of exponential technologies
- Manage a $5M innovation incubation fund supporting moonshot projects aligned with 2026 vision
- Build and lead a team of futurist researchers and technology ethicists
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurism with demonstrated impact at Fortune 500 or scale-up environments
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Systems Thinking, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies with $100M+ revenue impact
- Expertise in exponential technology domains: AGI, synthetic biology, quantum computing, or climate tech
- Deep familiarity with futures methodologies: Delphi studies, causal layered analysis, and technology roadmapping
- Credible public speaker with 50+ keynotes at global innovation conferences
- Published author in peer-reviewed futurism journals or mainstream tech publications
- Fluency in strategic foresight tools (e.g., Trendalyzer, Polaris) and data visualization platforms
