Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological inflection points
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into innovation initiatives
- Author thought leadership reports and whitepapers on technological disruption
- Advise executive leadership on future-proofing organizational capabilities
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify next-gen investment opportunities
- Represent the company at global tech summits and future-focused conferences
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Futures Studies, or related field
- 8+ years experience in strategic planning or technology innovation roles
- Proven track record of forecasting technology adoption and market impacts
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains
- Exceptional data visualization and scenario planning capabilities
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystems
- Published thought leadership in futurist or tech strategy publications
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on digital transformation
