Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research on federal legislation and policy trends
- Assist in drafting policy briefs, memos, and congressional correspondence
- Monitor committee hearings and floor proceedings for key developments
- Support stakeholder outreach and coalition-building activities
- Analyze legislative data using government databases and research tools
- Prepare presentations for internal strategy meetings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on advocacy campaigns
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program (any major)
- Strong research and analytical abilities with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and research databases
- Interest in U.S. government and public policy processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- U.S. citizenship or valid work authorization required
