As a leading agency in Ohio, we specialize in scaling local businesses through data-driven SEO and content marketing. You will work directly with senior strategists to optimize web presence, conduct research, and analyze performance metrics.
Responsibilities
- Execute SEO Audits: Perform technical and on-page SEO audits on client websites to identify optimization opportunities and improve search rankings.
- Keyword Research: Conduct in-depth keyword research to uncover high-value search terms and develop content strategies that align with user intent.
- Content Optimization: Assist in optimizing existing web pages and blog posts, ensuring meta tags, headers, and alt text are properly implemented.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor website traffic using tools like Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate weekly reports.
- Link Building: Support outreach campaigns to acquire high-quality backlinks from relevant local and industry-specific websites.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the copywriting and web development teams to ensure cohesive implementation of SEO strategies.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field (Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior status).
- College Credit: Must be eligible to receive college credit for the internship.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and a familiarity with SEO concepts such as SERPs, backlinks, and keyword density.
- Tools: Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets) and basic knowledge of SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz) is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Work Schedule: Ability to commit to 15-20 hours per week (flexible scheduling to accommodate class schedules).
