Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation pipeline aligning with market trends and technological shifts
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Secure $5M+ annual innovation budgets through data-driven ROI projections
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite and board members with executive-level storytelling
- Drive partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and global innovation labs
- Mentor a team of 8+ engineers and product designers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Proven track record launching products with >$100M revenue impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- MBA or equivalent from top-tier institution (Stanford, MIT, Wharton)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management
- Published thought leadership in Harvard Business Review or similar
- Fluency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and innovation frameworks
- Patents or peer-reviewed publications strongly preferred
