Responsibilities
- Assist with network monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems
- Support user account management and access control protocols
- Document IT processes and create knowledge base articles
- Collaborate on cloud infrastructure projects using AWS/Azure
- Participate in cybersecurity awareness initiatives and vulnerability assessments
- Provide technical support to employees via ticketing systems
- Assist with hardware/software deployment and inventory management
- Shadow senior engineers on complex system upgrades
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work 20-30 hours per week during the internship
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles preferred
- Experience with IT service management tools (ServiceNow, Jira) a plus
