Responsibilities
- Assist in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of enterprise systems
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM tools and document incident response activities
- Develop scripts for automated security monitoring and threat analysis
- Participate in security awareness campaigns and training material creation
- Conduct research on emerging cyber threats and mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security infrastructure projects
- Document security procedures and create technical documentation
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux) and command-line interfaces
- Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, CIS) or willingness to learn
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in collaborative team environments
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must be able to receive college credit for internship completion
