Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 Technical Support: Assist employees with hardware and software troubleshooting, including laptop setup, printer issues, and network connectivity.
- System Maintenance: Monitor system performance and assist in the deployment of updates and patches across the organization.
- Asset Management: Help maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets and equipment within the El Paso office.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and incident reports.
- Network Assistance: Support local area network (LAN) setup and configuration under supervision.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems. Familiarity with networking concepts is a plus.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: A proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Availability: Ability to work full-time (or part-time) for the duration of the internship with immediate start availability.
