Responsibilities
- Assist in the Design & Development: Collaborate with senior developers to design, code, and test software solutions for client projects.
- Code Maintenance: Debug existing codebases and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality standards.
- Documentation: Write clear, concise, and technical documentation for new features and API integrations.
- Collaboration: Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, attending daily stand-ups and sprint planning sessions.
- Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to propose innovative solutions.
- Testing: Assist in creating unit tests and performing quality assurance (QA) testing to ensure software reliability.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python or equivalent languages.
- Knowledge: Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Work Ethic: A proactive, self-starter attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability: Ability to commit to 15-20 hours per week, with the potential for extension into a full-time role upon graduation.
