Responsibilities
- Assist the development team in writing clean, efficient, and scalable code for web and mobile applications.
- Participate in code reviews and debugging sessions to improve software quality.
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Document code, processes, and technical solutions for future reference.
- Conduct research on emerging technologies and best practices to propose innovative solutions.
- Test applications thoroughly to ensure functionality and user experience.
- Attend team meetings, sprint planning sessions, and daily stand-ups.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Willingness to learn and a strong desire to gain practical experience in software development.
- Basic understanding of programming concepts (Python, Java, or C# preferred but not required).
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must be available to work 15-20 hours per week, with potential for 40 hours during summer months.
