Responsibilities
- Development Support: Assist senior developers in writing clean, efficient, and scalable code for web and mobile applications.
- Testing & Debugging: Participate in the QA process, writing unit tests, and debugging issues to ensure high product quality.
- Documentation: Contribute to technical documentation, API specs, and project wikis to facilitate team collaboration.
- Code Reviews: Review code from peers and provide constructive feedback to maintain high coding standards.
- Collaboration: Engage in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and brainstorming sessions with cross-functional teams.
- Research: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and tools relevant to our tech stack.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Programming Skills: Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++, JavaScript).
- Academic Standing: Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 preferred.
- Technical Tools: Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and IDEs (VS Code, IntelliJ).
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Availability: Must be available to start in Summer or Fall 2024 for a minimum of 12 weeks.
