Responsibilities
- Development: Assist the engineering team in designing, coding, and testing software applications and websites.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices and coding standards.
- Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code review sessions with cross-functional teams.
- Debugging: Identify, isolate, and fix bugs and performance issues within existing codebases.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, API specs, and user manuals.
- Research: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and propose improvements to current systems.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Availability: Must be available to start in Summer or Fall 2024 and commit to a minimum internship duration.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C++).
- Tools: Basic understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and relational databases (e.g., MySQL).
