As a Software Engineer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in modern web development, working directly with senior engineers to build scalable solutions that impact millions of users.
This is a full-time opportunity designed for the Summer/Fall 2024 start, offering mentorship, technical training, and a pathway to a full-time role upon graduation.
Responsibilities
- Develop & Test: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for web applications using modern frameworks.
- Collaborate: Participate in daily stand-ups and code reviews with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality standards.
- Problem Solving: Assist in troubleshooting complex bugs and optimizing application performance and scalability.
- Documentation: Create technical documentation and API specifications to support future development efforts.
- Deployment: Work with DevOps tools to assist in CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Innovation: Contribute ideas and research new technologies to improve existing products.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3 is required.
- Experience: Experience with React, Node.js, or Python is a strong plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time (40 hours/week) for the Summer/Fall semester.
