Responsibilities
- Design Next-Gen Architectures: Spearhead the architectural design of Large Language Models (LLMs) and multimodal AI systems optimized for 2026 computational standards.
- Model Optimization: Implement advanced optimization techniques (quantization, pruning, distillation) to deploy high-performance models on edge devices and cloud infrastructure.
- System Integration: Oversee the integration of AI models into production environments, ensuring seamless data flow and real-time processing capabilities.
- Ethical AI Frameworks: Establish and enforce governance protocols to ensure AI safety, fairness, and transparency in all deployed systems.
- R&D Leadership: Mentor a team of junior data scientists and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Performance Scaling: Lead initiatives to scale inference throughput by 10x while reducing latency and operational costs.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on AI/ML.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in machine learning engineering, with at least 2 years in a senior architect role.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and distributed computing frameworks (Kubernetes, Ray).
- Deep Learning: Strong understanding of transformer architectures, attention mechanisms, and NLP.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex, ambiguous problems at scale.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing technical roadmaps.
