At Nexus Future Labs, we are looking for a visionary Lead AI Research Scientist to drive the next evolution of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). You will not just follow trends; you will define the roadmap for the next generation of autonomous agents, large-scale reasoning models, and adaptive neural architectures.
In this role, you will operate at the intersection of mathematics, engineering, and product strategy. You will have the autonomy to experiment with novel architectures while ensuring rigorous scientific validation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the research and development of state-of-the-art Deep Learning models, focusing on LLMs, diffusion models, and reinforcement learning agents.
- Design scalable training pipelines capable of handling distributed computing environments and massive datasets.
- Bridge the gap between academic research and production deployment, ensuring models are robust, efficient, and safe.
- Collaborate with product leaders to translate technical capabilities into market-defining features.
- Mentor and guide a team of junior researchers and engineers, fostering a culture of curiosity and excellence.
- Publish high-impact research findings in top-tier conferences and journals.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in research roles within top-tier AI labs or tech companies.
- Deep proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- Strong mathematical background in linear algebra, calculus, probability, and information theory.
- Proven track record of delivering production-ready AI models at scale.
- Experience with MLOps, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), and model optimization techniques.
