Responsibilities
- Design and implement a scalable, high-availability microservices architecture for The 2026 Initiative.
- Lead a cross-functional team of engineers, data scientists, and product managers to deliver complex features on time.
- Optimize system performance, security, and reliability across cloud and edge environments.
- Establish coding standards, review architectural designs, and mentor junior developers.
- Collaborate with R&D to translate scientific breakthroughs into deployable code.
- Proactively identify technical debt and drive refactoring strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture and system design.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale distributed systems (e.g., experience with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS/GCP).
- Deep expertise in Python, Java, or Go, with a focus on high-performance computing.
- Experience with AI/ML infrastructure and data pipeline technologies (Apache Spark, Kafka, TensorFlow).
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture.
