Job Description
We are building the computational infrastructure of the 21st century. Nebula Horizon Technologies is seeking a visionary Lead Quantum AI Architect to define the next generation of machine learning algorithms on top of emerging quantum processors.
In this role, you will not just write code; you will engineer the bridge between classical neural networks and quantum entanglement. You will lead a cross-disciplinary team of physicists and data scientists to solve problems currently deemed impossible by silicon-based computing.
Why Join Us?
- Work on the forefront of post-silicon computing.
- Competitive equity package reflecting our unicorn status.
- Flexible remote-first policy with quarterly in-person 'Quantum Summits'.
- Top-tier healthcare and continuous learning stipend.
If you are ready to shape the future of AI in 2026 and beyond, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable quantum algorithms tailored for artificial intelligence applications, optimizing for NISQ (Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum) devices.
- Lead the research and development of hybrid classical-quantum models to enhance model accuracy and training speed.
- Mentor a team of junior engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation and rigorous scientific inquiry.
- Collaborate with hardware teams to define system requirements and optimize software-hardware co-design for quantum hardware.
- Translate complex quantum physics concepts into actionable software architecture for non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay ahead of the curve on emerging quantum computing standards and frameworks (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane).
- Publish high-impact research papers and present at global technology conferences.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field with a focus on Quantum Computing or AI.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years specifically in quantum computing or advanced AI.
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum programming frameworks.
- Proven track record of leading high-impact projects from conception to deployment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical ideas to diverse audiences.
- Passion for the future of technology and the potential of quantum mechanics.
