Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing community outreach strategies for Baltimore neighborhood revitalization projects
- Conduct market research and data analysis to inform urban planning decisions
- Create compelling content for social media and community engagement platforms
- Support grant writing and reporting for public-private partnership initiatives
- Participate in stakeholder meetings with local businesses and community organizations
- Develop visual presentations for project proposals and progress reports
- Collaborate with sustainability teams on green infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing degree in Marketing, Urban Planning, Environmental Science, or related field
- Must be eligible to receive academic credit for internship completion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic analytics tools
- Passion for community development and sustainable urban growth
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in team environments
- Previous volunteer or internship experience preferred but not required
- Available for 15-20 hours per week during academic semester
