Responsibilities
- Assist the marketing team with keyword research and SEO audits to improve search engine rankings for local Portland clients.
- Create engaging content for blog posts, social media channels, and email newsletters that align with brand voice.
- Monitor website analytics (Google Analytics) and prepare weekly performance reports to track campaign success.
- Support the design team by gathering assets and ensuring all digital assets are uploaded correctly to CMS platforms.
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify market trends and opportunities for our clients.
- Assist in organizing and executing local community outreach events and networking opportunities.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Must be able to receive academic credit for this internship.
- Strong understanding of basic SEO principles and social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team setting.
- Passion for digital trends and a desire to learn about the local Portland business landscape.
