Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1-2 technical support for enterprise systems during overnight shifts
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incident tickets via SIEM platforms
- Document troubleshooting procedures in knowledge base systems
- Collaborate with global teams on patch deployment and system updates
- Participate in quarterly disaster recovery simulations
- Contribute to vulnerability scanning reports using Nessus/Qualys
- Shadow senior engineers during complex incident escalations
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in Computer Science, IT, or Cybersecurity program (Sophomore+)
- Available for 3+ night shifts per week (10 PM - 6 AM)
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic understanding of Windows/Linux environments and Active Directory
- Strong written communication skills for documentation
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Valid driver's license for occasional off-site equipment pickups
- Must pass background check and ITAR compliance screening
