Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain server/network infrastructure during night shift operations
- Perform routine system diagnostics and troubleshoot technical issues
- Document operational procedures and create knowledge base articles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technology improvement projects
- Conduct security audits and implement best practices
- Support disaster recovery simulations and testing
- Assist in deploying and testing new software releases
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Familiarity with Linux/Windows Server administration
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Availability for 20-30 hours/week during summer/fall semester
- CompTIA A+/Network+ certification preferred
