Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the stability of critical IT infrastructure and applications during evening hours.
- Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and resolving support tickets for internal stakeholders.
- Conduct regular system performance audits and generate detailed technical reports.
- Collaborate with the day-shift engineering team to ensure seamless operational continuity.
- Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and update technical knowledge bases.
- Participate in nightly security checks and data backup verification processes.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Availability to work rotating Night Shift schedules (e.g., 6:00 PM - 2:00 AM).
- Strong understanding of basic networking concepts, operating systems, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Willingness to start between Summer or Fall 2024.
