Responsibilities
- Monitor enterprise security systems and respond to alerts during night shift hours
- Assist with vulnerability scanning and penetration testing exercises
- Document security incidents and maintain incident response logs
- Collaborate with SOC analysts on threat intelligence analysis
- Support infrastructure maintenance during low-traffic maintenance windows
- Participate in cross-functional security awareness training
- Contribute to automation scripts for security monitoring workflows
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Available for night shift (10 PM - 6 AM) with weekend rotation
- Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Familiarity with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) or willingness to learn
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a 24/7 operations environment
- Relevant coursework or certifications (Security+, CompTIA Network+) preferred
