Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain server/network systems during overnight shifts (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Respond to and resolve technical tickets using ticketing systems
- Perform system backups, security scans, and vulnerability assessments
- Document technical procedures and create knowledge base articles
- Collaborate with day-shift teams on system optimization projects
- Assist with hardware/software deployments and troubleshooting
- Participate in cross-departmental IT initiatives
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in Computer Science, IT, or related Bachelor's program
- Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems and networking
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python/PowerShell) preferred
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- CompTIA A+ or similar certification a plus
- Available to work 3-4 nights per week (minimum 20 hours)
