Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain server infrastructure during overnight operational hours
- Execute system patches and security updates during low-traffic windows
- Document technical procedures and create knowledge base articles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on incident response protocols
- Analyze system performance metrics and recommend optimization strategies
- Support disaster recovery testing and backup verification processes
- Participate in cross-training across IT domains (network, security, cloud)
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in Computer Science, IT, or related bachelor's program
- Basic understanding of Windows/Linux operating systems
- Available to work 40 hours/week on night shift schedule (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification preferred (not required)
- Ability to work independently in a remote team environment
- Valid US driver's license for occasional on-call requirements
