Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain server/network systems during overnight shifts, ensuring 99.9% uptime
- Respond to and resolve Tier 1-2 IT tickets using ticketing systems like Jira
- Execute scheduled system backups, updates, and security patch deployments
- Document technical procedures and create knowledge base articles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system optimization projects
- Participate in incident response drills and disaster recovery simulations
- Analyze performance metrics and generate operational improvement reports
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Available for consistent night shift schedule (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Proficiency in Linux/Windows administration and networking fundamentals
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or Bash)
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work independently
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification preferred
- Excellent written communication skills for technical documentation
