Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and respond to alerts during night shifts
- Perform vulnerability scans and penetration testing exercises
- Document security incidents and create detailed incident reports
- Assist with patch management and system updates during off-peak hours
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security projects
- Participate in regular security audits and compliance checks
- Learn and implement industry-standard security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Available for consistent night shift schedule (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs)
- Familiarity with security tools (SIEM, vulnerability scanners)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
