InnovateTech Group is looking for a detail-oriented Night Shift Intern to support our 24/7 operational infrastructure in Oklahoma City. Responsibilities
- System Monitoring & Maintenance: Proactively monitor server health, network traffic, and application performance to ensure 99.9% uptime during night shifts.
- Ticket Triage: Assist the Help Desk in prioritizing, logging, and resolving Level 1-2 technical support tickets received after hours.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of system changes, incidents, and resolutions within our ticketing systems.
- Hardware Configuration: Support the setup and configuration of workstations for remote and on-site employees working the evening roster.
- Security Protocols: Assist in enforcing security protocols and performing basic vulnerability scans on local networks.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Availability: Must be available to work Night Shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) for the full internship duration.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Windows OS, basic networking concepts (TCP/IP), and scripting languages (PowerShell/Bash preferred).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts simply.
- Work Ethic: Self-motivated individual capable of working independently with minimal supervision in a quiet environment.
