Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms during overnight shifts
- Document incident response procedures and security events in compliance logs
- Assist with vulnerability scans and penetration testing exercises
- Collaborate with global security teams on threat intelligence sharing
- Participate in quarterly tabletop disaster recovery simulations
- Conduct forensic investigations on suspicious network activities
- Maintain security documentation and knowledge base updates
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- Availability for night shift (11 PM - 7 AM) 3-4 nights weekly
- Basic understanding of network security principles (TCP/IP, firewalls)
- Experience with Linux/Windows command-line interfaces
- Familiarity with security tools (Wireshark, Metasploit, Burp Suite)
- Strong written communication skills for incident reporting
- Ability to work independently during overnight monitoring
- Valid driver's license for occasional after-hours equipment transport
