Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk/Symantec)
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing simulations
- Document incident response procedures and security logs
- Assist with firewall configuration and network device maintenance
- Collaborate on disaster recovery drills and system patching
- Support user account management and access control audits
- Participate in threat hunting and malware analysis exercises
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Familiarity with Linux/Windows command-line interfaces
- Ability to work independently during night shifts (12 AM - 8 AM)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- CompTIA Security+ or similar certification preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
