Join our dynamic IT team at GlobalTech Solutions and gain hands-on experience in a 24/7 operational environment. This night shift internship offers college students the opportunity to apply classroom learning to real-world enterprise systems while earning academic credit. You'll work alongside senior engineers on critical infrastructure projects in our Manhattan headquarters.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain server infrastructure during overnight hours
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and system alerts
- Document technical processes and create knowledge base articles
- Assist with cybersecurity protocols and threat detection
- Support cross-departmental digital transformation initiatives
- Perform system backups and recovery operations
- Collaborate with on-call engineers during critical incidents
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Computer Science, IT, or related degree
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS)
- Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems
- Ability to work independently during night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Available for 3-4 nights per week (minimum 20 hours)
- Must be eligible for academic credit through your institution
