Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms during night shift rotations
- Assist in incident response procedures and forensic investigations
- Document security events and maintain compliance logs
- Perform vulnerability scans and penetration testing exercises
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security awareness initiatives
- Update and maintain security documentation and playbooks
- Participate in threat intelligence briefings and analysis
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- Availability to work 10 PM - 6 AM (4 nights/week schedule)
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls)
- Familiarity with security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent coursework preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the US
