You will work closely with our Senior Systems Engineers and Network Administrators, gaining exposure to real-world troubleshooting scenarios, server maintenance, and help desk support. Responsibilities
- Monitor server logs and system performance to ensure 99.9% uptime during the night shift.
- Assist in the troubleshooting and resolution of help desk tickets submitted by internal users.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including software updates, patch management, and hardware checks.
- Document technical issues and resolutions in the internal knowledge base (Wiki).
- Collaborate with the on-site team during shift handovers to ensure seamless continuity.
- Support data center operations, including physical server checks and environmental monitoring.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) is required.
- Willingness and ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting is a plus.
