Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems during overnight hours
- Investigate and document security alerts using industry-standard protocols
- Assist in incident response procedures for potential breaches
- Perform vulnerability scans and penetration testing exercises
- Generate daily security reports and analytics dashboards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security initiatives
- Participate in tabletop exercises for threat scenario simulation
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- Basic understanding of network security concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls)
- Familiarity with security tools (Wireshark, Nmap, Metasploit)
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification preferred
- Excellent written communication for incident documentation
