Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM console for security alerts and incidents during night shift hours
- Analyze network traffic patterns to detect anomalies and potential breaches
- Document security incidents using standardized reporting tools
- Assist in patch management and vulnerability scanning operations
- Collaborate with day-shift teams during security incident handovers
- Participate in tabletop exercises for incident response scenarios
- Contribute to security awareness materials for internal training
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs)
- Familiarity with security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners)
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification preferred
