Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and investigate potential threats using SIEM platforms
- Document and escalate security incidents according to established protocols
- Perform vulnerability scans and penetration testing exercises
- Assist in implementing firewall rules and access control policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during incident response drills
- Generate comprehensive security reports and analysis dashboards
- Stay updated on emerging cyber threats and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)
- Familiarity with security tools (Wireshark, Nmap, Burp Suite)
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification preferred
