Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze network security logs during night shift operations
- Conduct vulnerability scans and penetration testing under supervision
- Document security incidents and assist in remediation procedures
- Collaborate with global security teams on threat intelligence
- Participate in 24/7 security rotation and incident response drills
- Update security documentation and maintain compliance records
- Shadow senior engineers on complex security implementations
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- Basic understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)
- Familiarity with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) preferred
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (12 AM - 8 AM)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent knowledge
- US citizenship or permanent residency required
