Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support for employees during night shift operations
- Monitor and maintain network security systems, firewalls, and intrusion detection tools
- Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues across Windows and macOS environments
- Document incident reports, knowledge base articles, and system maintenance logs
- Assist with server backups, patch management, and system updates
- Collaborate with day-shift teams on cross-functional IT projects
- Participate in emergency response protocols for critical system outages
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Familiarity with Windows/macOS operating systems and troubleshooting tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Available to work 3-4 night shifts per week (10 PM - 6 AM)
- CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent coursework preferred
- Valid California driver's license (for equipment transport if needed)
