Responsibilities
- Monitor enterprise security systems and respond to alerts during night shifts
- Perform vulnerability scans and penetration testing exercises
- Document security incidents and maintain compliance logs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during incident response
- Assist in deploying security patches and updates
- Participate in weekly threat intelligence briefings
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in accredited IT/Cybersecurity program (Sophomore+ standing)
- Availability to work 10 PM - 6 AM shifts (4 days/week minimum)
- Familiarity with SIEM tools (Splunk/Symantec preferred)
- Basic knowledge of network protocols and system hardening
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification (preferred)
- Strong problem-solving and documentation abilities
