Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain 24/7 IT infrastructure security systems during night shift
- Respond to and resolve technical incidents across network, server, and endpoint systems
- Document security events, incidents, and resolution procedures using ticketing systems
- Perform system backups, patch management, and vulnerability scans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during security drills and incident simulations
- Assist in implementing access controls and authentication protocols
- Generate nightly security reports for senior management review
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- Available to work 12-hour night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM) 3-4 days weekly
- Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems and networking fundamentals
- Basic understanding of security frameworks (NIST, CIS) and compliance standards
- Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Excellent written communication for incident documentation and reporting
- CompTIA Security+ or similar certification preferred (not required)
