Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts during night shift operations (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Perform initial incident triage and documentation using SIEM platforms
- Conduct vulnerability scans and patch management for enterprise systems
- Collaborate with global security teams during critical incident responses
- Maintain security logs and generate shift activity reports
- Participate in tabletop exercises simulating cyber attack scenarios
- Assist with endpoint security audits and compliance checks
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university program
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 in Cybersecurity, IT, or related major
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Familiarity with security tools: Wireshark, Metasploit, or SIEM platforms
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Strong written communication skills for incident reporting
- Must arrange college credit through your institution
- Available to commit to 3 nights/week schedule (minimum 20 hours)
